Need to say

One thing i hate about romance novels.

I can make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside and at the same time make you feel the total opposite cos you know it aint true and it is not going to happen. ARGH! so painfully addictive! T_T

So many of the characters are so wrong. As in it is so good that it is wrong.

List for top male characters (in my own opinion)

- Kevin Tucker from This Heart of Mine by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
- Anthony Bridgerton from The Viscount Who Loved Me by Julia Quinn

This is my top 2 fav. I think i am leaning more towards the characters by Julia Quinn right now. They are just so charming! And the time. 1800s. It sounds so… romantic.  o^_^o That is of course if the men were young and charming and handsome and oh so perfect with their imperfections and you yourself were a a upper class citizen. If not then it just sucks.

I think i need help. what should i do? hmmm…… i know! go and shower and sleep and then dream of the characters! I think i am addicted to a perfect dream. Wish i did not have to wake up from it. It can be so much better than life sometimes.

As close as i am to the edge of insanity, i still think that a romance like in the novels are oh so very nice.
Can’t blame a girl for dreaming right? haha (at least i know that i am dreaming and not hoping for something like this in real life)

-ra going to go back to reading some more romance novels with the oh so imperfect perfect characters.

Possibilities

I wonder…

Is it possible to make good friends with people after you are past the age of 20?
I personally am giving up hope of that happening… everyone by then would have their special friends that cant be replaced and they would most likely treat you as a good friend (minus the lack of sincerity of going the extra mile) at best.

Can people learn to truly love another person besides themselves?
It might be possible for something like that to happen, but i feel that something like that might be 1 in every 10,000 people. To put another before yourself or on the same level as yourself.

Why is good help so hard to find these days?
People who are willing to help with their heart and not just for the rewards (mental gratification not included)

Why i could not have been born in the upper-class society in the 1800s.  (=P)

If there is another alternative to life… death not included. 

Why i am wondering so much. 

The day called Saturday

lol, yesteday morning i went go carting with friends and all. It was fun and so cool!!!!! the speed was so nice! the racing made me so excited! but then the bad part was that the score was not recorded like it should have been cos of the com system being spoilt so i dont know my speed!!!!!! noooooooooo!!! argh

Then went clubbing for the first time in Australia last night.

The music was good, the place was not very club like in my opinion. It was really weird. Well, it is a typical club in one sense but the place and feeling was not at the same time. The place was so open in the sense that you can see outside and everything and one of the “rooms” was open air outside. so it is really weird. But as for the perverted people and the nice music. It is all there.

lol, i really dunno what to say though.

it was not horrible but it was not good. i much prefer go carting!

Btw, the reason i thought of going yesterday was to look at hot guys or smth. Just to look and see. To convince myself that there are hot guys here and what not, it is just i don’t have the chance to see ‘em. Total count for last night? 0.
A blood zero!!!!! not just me. My friend said that she saw zero hot and sexy ones. DUDE! what is going on?! i feel so cheated!
But there were some that were good looking or have the cute thing going for them. but still!!!!… i give up.

Misunderstood… or something else altogether

LOL, the title is typical of a teenager right?

i am no teen anymore.. but i dunno what other words to pick out of my limited dictionary.

Anyway, i never liked photography class cos i always found it so… boring? and the teacher scares me… anyway, he is a nice friendly guy. But today he kept calling me Sara baby, or baby, or smth like that.. i know he likes to tease people… but that ain’t funny and i ain’t laughing. =_=” sigh, and he has this image in his head that i am a party person and i go out to drink and what not at nights….

i give up, but i am wondering, do i look like a bad kid? sigh.

P.S. It is not helping that my jap friend is saying “Sara-chan Kawaii!” so many times today….

i am like totally tired with lack of sleep cos i was worrying about my hard disk and i am happy cos of talking to the gong peeps through facebook and talking to the other singaporeans here… today has got to be a weird day. maybe it is cheer-sara-up day. if only.. o well, one can only wish.

Melbourne city excursion

Went to Malvern at 12 with Sadia and Kundai.

Uber hot day, sweated like a pig, and we had the most normal lunch at those chinese take out places where everything is the same.

Walked around for around 2 hrs looking through books and stuff, me and Sadia were high on romance novels.

After that we decided to head for the city to see a movie and go visit the trashy romance novel store! (well it is not trashy! but what else can those novels be called) i loved it man! got 2 old Susan Elizabeth Phillips book and Sadia recommended this new book. Read around 14 pages so far.. looking good. Sadia seriously has seen to many of those novels! She has seen practically half of the books in the store man! hahaha

And so the movie we caught (after stocking ourselves up with BOOST juice) was the alvin and the chipmunks movie! read my review, feel my pain. lol… well, no picts in this post… so sorrrrry, i am not one to move around with my cam and take photos at random moments.

anyway, here i am, totally tired, foot and toes hurting for my too small new DC shoes.. feel so cheated man.. =_=”

Sadia just came over to make the CJ song list so we can reminisce when we wanna.

Alvin and the Chipmunks in the city????

Yup, it is the new(or is it old already) movie. Alvin and the chipmunks!

I mean it is Aussie and what be new here may be last years stuff (literally).

Anyway, i watched this in the theater today and i have to say… oh… my god…

it was painful to watch.

It started off ok.
I am pretty sure that it would be ok to watch for kids, but i felt that it was somewhat too cliche.
Cliche was one thing, but horrible acting by the actors was too much for me to take.
The ‘Earl’ guy delivered a very painful performance. I just could not take it. It felt like I wanted to inflict pain on the man when he screamed so that it would seem more real man. His screaming was so… like talking… same voice, just a few notches higher, you dont feel the emotions of frustration.

Story wise?
The story was fun. The beginning was nice, the animation was nicely done, the songs were so cute.. the chipmunks were really cute too. They were so adorable and that is why i would rate this movie a…

6/10
-mainly cos the chipmunks were so adorable that i don’t think they deserve to be pulled down into the toilet bowl with the rest of the cast

Cons
- horrible acting
- the female lead was in a House ep where… house spoiler… it turns out that she was not a girl but a guy…. so when i see her i think of a guy now…. ^^:
- some songs just sounded dodgy
- the storyline was that of a tv movie at best

Pros
- gotta love the chipmunks
- love the opening with the chipmunks

The trailers at the beginning of the movie were better than the movie itself.

And even if you pay me 100bucks i would not go back to watch it unless i die die need the cash.

one more pro… it was only 90mins… thank god! i was close to just running away, i was at the edge of my seat already…

i need sleep

i am killing myself with the lack of sleep man. yesterday… 4 hours of sleep… today? might have no sleep. cos school starts tmr i am too scared to sleep to late cos i might not wake up. T_T

and tmr evening i might go to Chadstone to have some butter chicken and watch a movie with Jace and Sadia. It all depends if i am still awake. lucky for me on thursday it is photography, i will just nap while watching the vids on photography, and then come friday… my gwad…. SLEEP! and then i might go back to school on sat to do work seeing that i have nth better to do plus i have work due. ^^ hahahahaha… insane madness, but i am feeling more alive with the sound of music. LOL, well the sound of work and life. ^^

Its 2008! so 8 fingers up for you guys! i feel like one of those rapper dudes going, “YOYOYO what’sup bro!?”

Oh! for new years i went to flinders walked for 10 mins made u turn and went back home cos me and my friends just weren’t feeling “it”.

Then when we went back home we headed out for a “party” (sucked cos it was like 4 people sitting around watching resident evil.. ^^: you call that a party? we had more fun in the car)

Oh ya, a pal drove and we got lost, she said smth like how she did not know the place and we will probably reach there at 3am.. i was thinking that it cant be cos the place is at most 20 mins away. And it was 12.25 when she made the comment. But guess what? She predicted correctly, we got lost and what not and went roaming for 2 and a half hours in a car.. haha

The funniest part of the night was when we started talking about old CJC stuff at macs, and our non stop every one min change songs. The only 2 songs that we started screaming too and listened in full was probably ‘Living on a Prayer – Bon Jovi’ cos we seriously were, we passed by 3 churches (one that looked very suspicious with a sign saying Asylum smth) lol and ‘Dont Want To Miss a Thing – Aerosmith’.

I really should go and sleep… it is 10am, i have a pot luck thing upstairs at 3pm or so. And honestly, it is more like a junk luck thing, cos we are bringing bread, milk, chips, coke. hahahahaha madness, our fridges are THAT empty, and worst come to worst we will have some indo mee…. those packet mee goreng things. Alright then. Stay cool for the next year folks!

As for new years resolutions, dont want to make them. Everyday should be a resolution to what you want to be tomorrow. ^^ And honestly i just want to be better. Be it in whatever aspect.

And yes i am that pathetic, pictures of me with no one else.
